God's gifts put man's best dreams to shame. no way! that is awesome. will you email me these pics?
I know the original old one is in TX, but that was a guess; then I googled it and found out it really is in TX. But where is the other??? :-)
On our way home from Texas we forsook the interstate for an old highway. We went through many towns that Sarah dubbed, "Radiator Springs." I saw a sign for Langtry, Texas and thought it sounded familiar. Then a sign for Judge Roy Bean's Law West of the Pecos museum. We took the detour and enjoyed the location commemorating his brand of frontier justice. I even bought a book about him. He was proprietor of the Jersey Lilly Saloon, and would pick juries of barflies and hold court in the saloon. Amid it all he he had a certain sense of justice perhaps due to the influence of a Bible quoting friend named Dodd.
Coincicence: Four days later we were walking through Knott's Berry Farm with grandkids, and to my surprise there was a replica of the Jersey Lilly.
i must have missed this post - i was trying to figure out which one was which - the original vs the remake. (without re-reading your comment)
i'm figuring the top one was the remake - not sure that part of texas has access to pointsettias!
Sarah's so funny... love her.
